Amazing experience. FOC beer and a detailed tour of the brewery. On the outside, the facility is nondescript but trust me, the inside is a world of difference. Made my visit to Sendai worth it!

Very good informative and professional tours of the beer making factory. Tour is conducted in Japanese but has audio assist in English. Worth a visit if one has a couple of hours to spend. Free drinks at the end of the tour helps as well!!! The place really has a very nice park around it.

Great free tour. Although it's all in Japanese, they have an English transcript. A few free beers for tasting at the end. Take the JR Senseki line from Sendai station to Tagajo, then a free shuttle 35 mins past the hour.

Yokohama's beer tour was much more advanced. Best not to drive, else the watchful eyes of the tour hosts will ensure u do not get a sip of the precious golden juice. Also, the company should consider selling a 2 pack mix of the lagers.

While the tour was conducted in Japanese, they gave us an English pamphlet that highlighted the points made on the tour. For those with any rough understanding of the brewing process, it's easy enough to grasp anyway. It was certainly very cool to see the production from the raw ingredients all the way to the actual bottling and canning machinery. While a beer tour may not seem like your cup of tea, the tasting at the end will surely be worth your stop. Three full glasses of fresh beer made at the factory and an extra can for you to take home was definitely worthwhile. Did I mention the entire tour was free? Let's just say I certainly have a higher appreciation for Kirin's first press brew now.

Awesome tour and thoughtful service!I am a Taiwanese. Although they don’t provide English or Chinese tour guide, they offer traditional Chinese brochures with very detailed information. I was late and a little hurry for airport. They allowed me to join the current group rather than the next one in 30 minutes. It helped me catch shuttle bus and JR train. In this tour, they provides 3 cups of beer with different flavors for free. Highly recommended tour! Thanks all staffs especially the female supervisor, the cute tour guide and those in the counter with beautiful smiles.

I'm pretty sure the guide just said all you can drink for the next 15 min. (My Japanese is not perfect and our great tour guide spoke very fast). The experience starts at Togajo station where a whimsical bus picks you up and drives you to the factory. Check in with the front desk for the free tour and enjoy the elaborate tour using your 5 senses: sight, touch, smell, taste, and VR!. Yes, they have a VR segment! Anyways, free tasting at the end of the tour and they pretty much give you full pours of three different types they make. I would come here again every time I'm passing through. -$free

Great beer factory tour, plus shuttle pick-up service from nearby Tagajo Station with advanced reservation (or if visiting during a busy time like a weekend). Free tasting at the end. Tour in Japanese only, but English pamphlet and simple signs clue you into the process. Nice restaurant and gift shop. I recommend the beer jelly chocolates as a souvenir. Remember no drinking (even a sip) and driving in Japan. The factory also does a lot of support towards rececovery efforts from the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

What a fantastic experience! The staff made us feel welcomed. We were treated like VIPs even though it's a free tour! Every staff we came across, even the factory floor operators, waved to us. It is an educational tour and we got to taste their premium beer. Cannot ask for more. Make reservations online and just show up 15mins before the tour starts.

We were given a site visit for free. The guide was helpful, the brochure was in English and we had 3 glasses of beer for free! 🍻 Typically takes you around an hour to visit the place. You will need to book the site visit though!

Great factory tour with free shuttle bus service from Tagajō Station (多賀城駅). There is free beer tasting at the end of the tour. The souvenir was not too original of the factory and was a little letdown.

Love the opportunity to visit the factory. Staffs are friendly. Although the factory tour was conducted in Japanese, we were given detailed English written description about the tour. Free drinks (beer or soft drinks) and souvenir are given to visitors.

Gives you a nice short tour of the factory. Of you do not understand Japanese you will have to read English text that the tour guide will give you.At the end of the tour they gave three glasses of different beer.Everything was for free and I didn't have to book the tour in advance.

This place is great! The tour is really interesting and free, even with the tasting at the end. The staff are brilliant, working in both Japanese and English. Get the shuttle (also free) from Tagajo station.

Great factory tour and free beer and non-alcholic beverages at the end of the tour. Remember to take the free shuttle bus to the Factory from Tagajou station South exit. Shuttle timetable is on their official site.
